Other events include charities, conventions, raves, zombie walks, and concerts in Los Angeles, Malibu, Orange County, Washington DC, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Delaware, and Maryland.

Jesse also licenses music for film, TV shows, and ad campaigns with Art Ford Music Services. They represent music by Christina Aguilera, Frank and Nancy Sinatra, Motley Crue, Ella Fitzgerald, Little Richard, Celine Dion, Aerosmith, Whitney Houston, The Sonics, Bessie Smith, Wu-Tang Clan, Bing Crosby, The Roots, as well as independent, emerging, and unsigned artists. Their song placements include several Marvel, Coke, Oprah, The Equalizer 2, Christopher Robin, Cars 3, Citibank, Toyota, Land Rover, Mercedes, and The Wedding Year film trailer.

Before music licensing, Jesse worked as music manager and tour assistant with Guinness Records’s “world’s most successful DJ,” Grammy nominee, producer, and Perfecto Records label owner Paul Oakenfold. Jesse negotiated business deals, booked events, did live set prep, mix construction, and research and logistics for Oakenfold’s “Generations” world tour and Mt. Everest performance, the flags Jesse and his wife, Stephanie, made are still up there.

The Journey to Hollywood

On May 28th, 2015, Jesse attended the debut of Paul Oakenfold’s electronic music academy and DJ Camp at the Los Angeles Film and Recording School. He spent a week learning from top industry professionals, including agents, managers, lawyers, DJ’s, producers, social media experts, Rolling Stone Magazine, American Idol, AM ONLY, The Grammys, and Oakenfold.

By the end of the camp, Jesse was accepted into the music production program at the Los Angeles Film & Recording School. He returned to Virginia, bought a car, packed everything he owned into a 5x8 trailer, and trekked the 2600 miles to California to start classes in August.

A month after arriving in LA, Jesse was invited to serve as brand ambassador of Oakenfold’s 2nd DJ Camp. He was a featured speaker, did graphic design, secured editorials, and a confirmed booking for Oakenfold at Mobile Beat’s Las Vegas trade show at the Tropicana, which resulted in Oakenfold hiring Jesse as his music manager and world-tour assistant.

In February of 2017, Jesse graduated Summa Cum Laude with an A.S. in Music Production from the Los Angeles Recording School. He received accolades for student of the month and achieved the only 4.0 GPA in his class. After graduation, Jesse officially accepted an opportunity to work as a personal assistant with the vice president of the Los Angeles Film School, which he’d already been doing for several years. In the same month, Jesse accompanied Oakenfold for the kick-off of his “Generations” world tour at Mobile Beat, Las Vegas.
